Using this specialized, ultra-precise tool, Dr. Crawford is able to reshape the gum line or expose more dental enamel on a tooth with minimal discomfort to patients. Dr. Crawford uses the laser to gently remove some of the gum, a tiny portion at a time, exposing the right amount of tooth structure to enhance your smile. If you have elected to undergo a tooth restoration process, such as veneers, Dr. Crawford may use the laser to expose more of the existing teeth, which provides a better foundation for attaching the veneers to the tooth surface.
