A Dental Hygienist is a licensed dental professional who specializes in preventive oral health, focusing on techniques in oral hygiene. Procedures performed by the Licensed Dental Hygienists include cleanings, known as prophylaxis, scaling and root planing for patients with periodontal disease. The hygienists in our dental practice are Licensed to administer local anesthesia.
Meet Jan - Dental Hygienist
Jan is a graduate of University of Hawaii in Manoa, and has more than 30 years experience as a Registered Dental Hygienist. She takes pride in her attention to detail and gentle touch. Jan has lived in Alaska, Hawaii and now Washington, and stays close to family with frequent trips to Alaska. Jan has a son and a daughter and two grandchildren. Jan's time away from the office takes her skiing and biking.
Meet Bonnie - Dental Hygienist
Bonnie has more than 20 years of experience as a dental assistant, and her love of dentistry inspired her to become a Registered Dental Hygienist. Bonnie graduated from Shoreline Community College in the spring of 2008, and joined the Crawford Dental Team shortly after. She enjoys utilizing her professional knowledge, judgment and skills in providing new and innovative treatments and promoting oral health benefits to patients. Bonnie enjoys camping, fishing and country music.
